The Assessor vs Remediator Rule
Florida licenses these two roles separately for good reason:
Mold Assessor (MRSA): Trained to inspect, take samples, interpret lab results, and write reports. They do not perform remediation.
Mold Remediator (MRSR): Trained to safely remove mold following IICRC S-520 protocols. They do not perform assessment on their own remediation projects.
